The Bahamas

Island Estates and Open Water

The Bahamas is a short hop from home, and the water there changes how every frame reads. Shooting on the islands means working with that light: palm forest down to the sand, flats that turn from turquoise to deep blue, and evenings that go gold fast.

On private estates we photograph the house, the gardens and the walk to the water, by day and again at twilight. On the water we shoot yachts at anchor and underway, from the deck and from the air. Drone work is flown under a Bahamas Civil Aviation Authority permit we arrange before we travel.

  • Nothing short of amazing quality and professionalism! I had the pleasure of working with Katie and her team on a few photo shoots for a couple of boats as a client. I was so impressed I’ve hired her again to do a shoot on my newest boat! Can’t wait for this one!

What does a shoot in The Bahamas include?

Photography, aerials and film planned as one trip. We shoot the house, grounds and shoreline in daylight, stay on for twilight, and add yacht or lifestyle coverage while we are on the island.

How do you handle travel to the islands?

Our team flies out of South Florida, through Nassau or direct to the Out Island airports, and builds a weather day into the schedule. Travel is planned and quoted before you book.

Can you fly a drone in The Bahamas?

Yes, with a permit. Every drone flight in The Bahamas needs approval from the Bahamas Civil Aviation Authority, so we apply ahead of the trip with the aircraft details and our FAA certification, then fly clear of airports and with the owner's consent over private land.

Do you bring your own gear?

Yes. Cameras, lenses, lighting and drones travel with us as carry-on and checked cases and are declared at Bahamas customs on arrival, so nothing has to be sourced on the island.

How fast is turnaround?

Edited photos are delivered the next business day. Video and 3D tour timing is set when you book.
