Costa Rica

From the Cliffs to the Canopy

Costa Rica is where a lot of our hotel work began. We spent years shooting the Pacific side of the country, from Villa Caletas on the cliffs above Herradura to Rancho Pacifico in the rainforest over Uvita and El Mangroove on the Gulf of Papagayo. Each property asks for something different: a pool that hangs over the ocean, villas tucked into the canopy, a bay that turns gold at sunset.

Hotel photography in Costa Rica covers rooms, pools, dining and the views guests book for. Aerial photography shows how a property sits in the jungle and along the coast, and drone videography is planned around DGAC requirements and the weather on that stretch of the Pacific. UGC reels round it out for social.

  • Kaelin did an incredible job with our yacht listing. Her attention to detail and ability to showcase the vessel in a polished, high-end way made a huge difference in how it was perceived online. Beyond that, she made the entire shoot feel relaxed and fun, which is rare at this level of production. We saw strong engagement right away and ended up closing the deal quickly. Kaelin’s work truly elevates the entire sales process.

  • Nothing short of amazing quality and professionalism! I had the pleasure of working with Katie and her team on a few photo shoots for a couple of boats as a client. I was so impressed I’ve hired her again to do a shoot on my newest boat! Can’t wait for this one!

Questions

Not seeing yours? Call or text (772) 666-5464.

Do you travel to Costa Rica for hotel shoots?

Yes. Most of our Costa Rica work has been for hotels and resorts along the Pacific coast, from Guanacaste down to Uvita. Travel is quoted with the project, and we plan the dates around the season, your occupancy and the light.

What does a resort shoot include?

Usually rooms and suites, pools, dining, spa and common areas, plus aerials of the property and its setting. We build the shot list with your team ahead of time so guest areas can be staged and cleared on schedule.

Can you fly a drone in Costa Rica?

Drone work in Costa Rica is regulated by the DGAC, the country's civil aviation authority, and commercial flights need its authorization. We confirm the current requirements before every trip, stay clear of airports and restricted zones, and agree flight times with the property so guests are not disturbed.

Do you create UGC and social content for hotels?

Yes. UGC-style reels shot on location give your social channels a guest's-eye view of the property: the arrival, the pool, the room reveal, the view at sunset. They can be added to a photo and film shoot or booked as a content package.

How fast do we get the photos?

Edited photos are delivered the next business day. Film and reel timing is set when you book.
