Montauk, New York
Montauk is the very end of Long Island, where the harbor opens to Block Island Sound and the lighthouse looks out over the point. We came up in June 2026 for Safe Harbor's hosted weekend at Montauk Yacht Club, with Katie leading the shoot.
The job was the whole weekend: the marina from the air at golden hour, dinner under the tent on the lawn, the pool, the docks and the people who made the weekend. Destination work like this is part of what we do from South Florida, and every drone flight is cleared with the local airport and the state park rules before we fly.

Yes. Iris Creative Co. is based in South Florida and books destination work in Montauk and across the East End. Travel is quoted with the shoot, and the dates are planned around the light, the weather and the venue calendar.
Most bookings pair event or property photography with drone aerials and vertical recap reels. We scout the light the evening before when the schedule allows, then shoot through sunset and blue hour on the water.
Yes, under FAA Part 107. Montauk Airport sits on the east shore of Lake Montauk, so harbor flights are checked against its traffic and any flight restrictions before the shoot. Montauk Point State Park and the other New York state parks require written approval from State Parks before any drone launch.
Yes. Yachts can be shot in their slips or running on Lake Montauk, coordinated with the marina so the dock is clear and the boat is staged before the light turns.
